Located in The Farms, a newly developed community in Poway, this project began as a blank-slate yard surrounding a brand-new home. Greenway was commissioned to design and build the entire landscape, turning open dirt into a thoughtfully curated outdoor living space. The front yard features paver pathways and a functional dry creek bed to support drainage and visual interest. In the backyard, artificial turf-wrapped paver steppers lead to a spacious patio with a custom fire table ideal for gatherings. The highlight: a modern art-deco retaining wall with a custom water feature that adds ambiance through movement and sound. This design blends modern aesthetics with comfort, usability, and family-friendly functionality.
Paul Residence â Poway, CA
Backyard Renovation with Turf, Pool Remodel, and Elevated Outdoor Living:
Greenway redesigned the front entry and backyard of this Poway property to deliver a fresh, functional outdoor space that suited the homeowners' lifestyle. The backyard transformation included a complete pool remodel with a raised bond beam water feature, extensive artificial turf installation, and Belgard paver patios accented by charcoal edging for a modern, cohesive look. A former tennis court was converted into a dual-purpose pickleball and basketball court, while an elevated dining area wrapped in sleek modern cable railing was constructed using wood-look pavers to overlook the action below. The project also included vinyl fencing, updated irrigation, drainage solutions, and new planting throughoutâresulting in a highly usable, low-maintenance landscape with clean lines and standout features.

Elegant Curb Appeal and Safe, Stylish Outdoor Living:
This whole-property renovation in Scripps Ranch was designed to bring the homeownerâs vision of a functional, elegant, and low-maintenance landscape to life. Greenway transformed both front and backyard spaces using cohesive materials like Belgard Mega Arbel and Belgard Dimensions pavers with charcoal edging. A new front courtyard was enclosed with BelAir 2.0 retaining walls, strip lighting, and lush planters, creating an inviting space for evening gatherings. The outdated driveway and overgrown landscape were replaced with modern pavers and in-ground lighting for dramatic curb appeal. In the backyard, Greenway remodeled the firepit area, installed winding pathways with modern path lighting, and built a wrap-around elevated patio with step lights to eliminate a guest room trip hazard. Drought-tolerant plants, efficient irrigation, and rock garden accents completed this warm, glowing transformation.

Phased Remodel for Family Living and Lasting Curb Appeal:
Greenway partnered with Dave and Darlene NisleitâDave being the recently retired Chief of Police for San Diegoâto design and build a multi-phase outdoor transformation tailored to their lifestyle. Phase 1 focused on essential brow ditch repair to resolve long-standing drainage challenges. In Phase 2, the backyard was reimagined with lush, low-maintenance artificial turf and a custom putting green, perfect for practice and play with visiting grandkids. The final phase brought a complete front courtyard remodel, replacing worn stamped concrete with elegant herringbone pavers and a charcoal border for a timeless first impression. With functionality, safety, and elegance as priorities, the Nisleits now enjoy a cohesive, durable outdoor space that delivers lasting enjoyment and strong visual impactâearning Greenway repeat projects and glowing referrals.
Rancho Santa Fe Residence â Rancho Santa Fe, CA
Modern Landscape for Luxury Living in The Farms Community:
Located in the exclusive Farms Community of Rancho Santa Fe, this backyard transformation was designed to complement the clientâs newly refinished pool with a clean, high-end aesthetic. Greenway designed and installed over 150 feet of modern Belgard paver patios, stairs, and pathways using white-to-tan hues with charcoal edging to tie seamlessly into the new pool coping. Pet-friendly artificial turf was installed across multiple lawn areas using antibacterial Bio-Pet Sand infillâproviding a safe, odor-free space for the homeownersâ two dogs. A compact putting green and a sleek paver stepper path were added for guest enjoyment and connectivity from back to front yard. This project was completed on time and on budget in preparation for a family gathering, delivering refined beauty, low-maintenance functionality, and unmatched craftsmanship.
